James Bond returns in the stylish teaser trailer for Skyfall
After a four-year hiatus and a mediocre Quantum of Solace (2008), James Bond 007 is back in style with Skyfall (2012). This time around, the renowned spy character has gathered quite a filmmaking crew, with award-winning director Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition, Jarhead). With him, Mendes brings long-time collaborators Thomas Newman (award-winning composer) and Roger Deakins (award-winning cinematographer), as well as an amazing cast (listed below). The first teaser trailer has arrived online, and while it is certainly a tease with little in terms of plot, Skyfall looks to be one of the best-looking Bonds yet, and I’m sure it’ll deliver on epic action and better character development than most given the filmmaking pedigree. Check it out below!
Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. [IMDB]
