Full trailer for the riveting Sundance documentary The Imposter
Regardless of genre, The Imposter (2012) was one of my favorite films at Sundance. Director Bart Layton has
crafted a riveting documentary that plays out like a mystery-thriller; it’s an excellent mix of real interviews and dramatizations. I was immediately drawn in by the story and completely captivated for the whole runtime, as numerous twists occur throughout the film. Of course, the less you know about the story the better, so don’t go looking up information about the people or case as it would ruin what is an amazing viewing experience knowing little-to-nothing about the plot (yet still thrilling if you’ve already seen it). After an unofficial teaser trailer hit online a few months ago, the official trailer has arrived; check it out below!.
A documentary centered on a young Frenchman who convinces a grieving Texas family that he is their 16-year-old son who went missing for 3 years. [IMDB]
The Imposter will be released on July 13, 2012.
