lassic American novel The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann would be near the top of that list. Best known for his hit 2001 musical Moulin Rouge!, Luhrmann should at least make The Great Gatsby (2012) look immaculat. Indeed, the first trailer features extensive set and production designs with a first-class cast. Check it out below!
Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner now living on Long Island, finds himself fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor, Jay Gatsby. He is drawn into Gatsby’s circle, becoming a witness to obsession and tragedy. [IMDB]
