Kickass trailer for Kim Jee-woon’s The Last Stand, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger
Famous South Korean director Kim Jee-woon makes his English-language, Hollywood debut in amazing fashion with the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger in an action lead role in The Last Stand (2013). Although the former governor makes his first appearance on the big screen since leaving office with The Expendables 2, this action flick is his first
true lead role post-office. Fortunately, he has the sure-handed yet stylish direction of Kim Jee-woon at the helm, who has proven his talents in the brilliant horror drama A Tale of Two Sisters (2003), stylish action in The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008), and downright brutality with depth in I Saw the Devil (2010). Now, we finally have the first preview for the film, and it looks pretty entertaining, full of hard-hitting action via unique camera angles and some classic Arnold-like one-liners (he even has a bit of a Clint Eastwood vibe). Check it out below!
