Evocative, perplexing teaser trailers for Shane Carruth’s Upstream Color
Shane Carruth took Sundance by storm back in 2004 with the intricately written time-travel study Primer; for many it turned out to be too dense, but it is certainly an indie masterpiece for its detailed sci-fi element and strong character study. Since his debut, Carruth has not made a feature film, until Upstream Color (2013). Based on the first two, beautiful/haunting teaser trailers and the mystifying plot synopsis, it looks like Carruth will be taking us on another wild, mind-bending ride. Indeed, it is one of my most anticipated films for the upcoming 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Check the previews out below!
